I slowly move to stand up. quietly the words creep up. from the pit of my stomach I speak up.
hi everyone my names mark and I am a negative bastard. In church not the place to be plastered.
I told him to say that. I’m the one he listens too. me and him are tight you know the coo.
I am his mate but I do get irate. when he tries to remove the negative from his plate.
got him hooked lines bate. Like sardine in a tin on squashed on a train again.
glass is always half full its empty. I can do his job it’s easy. but fortnightly scratch your destiny.
cash only chores. shotting shots for a score. Keep up the good work no tax returns they are bore.
I gotta stop bunning I could do so much more. but you’ll miss the wicked munchies at four.
With 2 step, 4 step you know the core. wish too chirp an unbelievable girl she is brilliant.
forget it man all the same but look different. wish to step up be the man and socialise. to be alive.
To fell aright, why what is better than surfing drinks all night. always stressing bout my fix every night.
Don’t worry bro we’ll get you fixed tonight. that iPad over there that’s a score quick bright.
Everyone got a buddy like me. His true best mate. I’m your subconscious it hates.

move like jagger, walk like rihanna, now roll like hawkins

as the wheels on his chair go round, two AA batteries his voice got sound.
intelligence spouted its profound. with his Darlex sound i'm spellbound.
what a mind. its a beautiful mind. not crows but a hawkins shrine.
waste man not listing. why does the universe go to all the bother of existing.
universe doesn't allow perfection. take for granted actions every bodily function.
minds are 21st century natural selection. no second chances fixing corrections.
If time travel is possible, where the tourists from the future. today is the future.
if i could walk and talk i'd beat you.  shake it. take it.. make it... happen.
its time to roll like hawkins. i want to roll like hawkins. move like hawkins.

Train Poems

another train another look deep inside my brain. T I C 's and my days spent.
1 more day ticked earned. what have i learnt. today it's the same as yesterday.
tomorrow won't be like yesterday. if i only had my way. be on hols everyday.
or only work half a day lee. he's my minder and he's bigger than yee.
i am right behind him over here can't you see. i need these here because i speak free.
scandalous uneducated buffoons. same old statement around like typhoons.
how can you be free without an opinion.  hearsay when you recite an opinion.
is that all you got. I already forgot. knowledge is power words is all you got.
food for thought what you bringing. nothing to the table for supper you be singing
our way of life and culture slipping. slowly clinging to our democratic society.
MP's you owe us an apology.  20 year of referendums not benefiting Britain.
your constitute only benefit the present resident. not for Britain only to smitten.
50'000 x's on a paper at the Polls. broken Britain and everyone's on the dole.
you cant represent us the people. cause you out of touch with the people.
5 acres and a carrier for people. just mere people an annoyance their feeble
I'm racist because you say so. sing for St George and that's a no no.
too uneducated to express a democratic right. working class right.
express with a fight. be like the french down tools for your rights.

Sunday Evening Blurb.

who am I to write my life the blog. voice of the voiceless puppy dog.
lead around necks. led by suited rednecks. paying their cheques.
try to imply with a sigh not to cry. how society in a hearse. it’s a human curse.
insult disrespect among all races all creeds teenage seeds too early to feed.
living longer with a younger next generation. world economy state of inflation.
propaganda miss-information. foreign policy home grown terror ideology
shareholders pay-outs. nations getting bailouts. rest to suffer the financial fallout's.
murder. youths getting bolder. murder different postcode number.
special divisions called cobra. Doreen Lawrence needs a shoulder.
they were let down badly. but she still looks like a lovely lady.
justice prevails. they'll all burn in hell. for them it’s a bombshell.
justice for fathers. I’m thankful our father. my sons not a weapon of mass destruction.
courts bringing fathers to mass depression. paying price for majority of fathers vacating.
black projects in secret locations. hidden from the books but in plain sight when you look.
NWO prophets. fearful if you gossip. think it’s right. looking good in a snipers site.
schools health my kids I'm scared to death. and our welfare is well fair. got to take a breath
you have never contributed but you wish to take out......that's OK
you got no skills no talent but a bunch of kids.......that's also OK
arrive on plane first stop Housing then the Job Centre.....is that OK
would you put a pound in the charity box and take a fiver..... it’s not OK
so I'm not going to talk about any of that. with realism if I got to do that.
i’ll have nothing to say and that's a fact.

Train Poem

once again I am tinkering. brain tripping when I am chilling. contemplating every emotion .
thought process in the motion. contemplate the contemplating. all of a sudden wondering.
contemplating the contemplate this shit is complicated. overloading on the contemplate.
why all the contemplating all I seem to do is contemplate. what do you have to think about.
the fact you're a lout with a mouth that spouts. too loud I lowe your pout. what you on about.
simple minded twat. your fat. raiders sock hat. with a fake gat. in your mind who's bad.
forever contemplate family tress. analyse dissect to see. cant see the woods to many trees.
cant see what important can’t see what right. contemplating winner of your thoughtless fight.
people like yourself, myself, whole self only interested until that defeat oneself.

Train Poem - Stripy Socks, Clock Watching & Sky Scrapers

Next challenge Stripy Socks, clock watching and Sky Scrapers 3 topics 30min train ride 1 poem lets have it....

white socks, sports socks, ankle socks, business socks, black socks, work socks
which one rock, none of them cock the only socks that rock are the one that are.
shaded, faded thick or thin. stripy socks are my vice my one true sin. Amen my kin
believe i'm a believer all the others suck all just muck so please go F#%k
but it seems just right. when holding on tight. trying keep eyes upright. a daily fight.
hours take days. minutes into hours oh my dayz. seconds go backwards. like yesterday.
is it ground hog day. daily dose of clock watching. hair of the dog then i'll stop bitching.
spread then wings branch out its clear. brother get the fuck out of here.
boredom creeps out of every orifice. starts about 8.30 first steps in the office.
Its awfully off-key its like this in every office. knock my boss off a motive would be this office.

Train Poem - Politics,Andy Murray & David Cameron

Another challenge from another colleague i'm liking this my blocks lifted three words 1 30 min train ride 1 little poem.

Politics, Andy Murray & David Cameron ouch here it is....

Politics its a bit of a head twists for me. its a mystery.
its his story. chatting shit too me.
all I see is old farts. with a hand on my heart.
don't know where to start. always outsmart.
MPs stand for Muppet's. strings on a Puppet.
send to outta-space on a rocket. fuck it.
more sense from big bird not Widdecombe.
the street with the yellow fur needing a comb.
on the glorious subject of brushing.
a Serbian got one hell of pasting. devastating.
man was in a hurry, a Sir Andy Murray.
but Mr Dumblane loose the straight face.
Wimbledon man with all the famous faces.
Cameron and Salmond applauding political aces.
Saltire so much exposure. No 10's bringing the borders closer.
Media stating this is not kosher. Saltire flying for sporting glory's.
but St George is never worthy. stop is that a racist statement.
evidence is blatant. only the English are scared to be English.
insecurities need to banish. whats the solution to broken Britain.
praying for our children. you got no clue as to what to do.
stand up applaud your MP's. thank you for our Britain.
were are all fucking smitten.

Train Poem challenge Girls, Blow-Up Dolls and Tennis

was challenged for my train poem to write about Girls, Blow-up dolls and Tennis, so here it is.... :-)

I don't know you don't know about life if you got to think twice if you've had any strife.
be nice to get a warning about pending strife, prior to the decisions I have made in life.
its no retreat no surrender then hook line an sinker. whole heaps of shit worlds a stinker.
getting too old geezer being a quick thinker. slowing down I've discovered a banker.
I got theses girls in my life never let me down. with a frown that's always upside down.
stressing  out like a spastic don't ripe the plastic The lung drenching blow-up type.
make sure I don't blow her up too tight. i'll be nursing a pasting in a diabolic location.
a problem arises with the unforeseen situation. after 77 years of pent-up frustration.
its never game set match. because my girl cant catch.

The dreaded feeling when you realise for the first time you are your parents child: Ouch, my dad whom i love dearly is often described by most as a very laid back piss taker who is a scotch git lol the moment of realization hit me yesterday at work when one was described a laid back complete piss take whom is a cockney git, not only that remember when you parents used to talk about the old times very fond memories from my childhood remember the story "bus, chips, fags, pictures (cinema) drinks more chips bus back and still had change from a fiver; have you complained about prices of main essentials these days are so expensive, was only saying yesterday how in the 90's 10 benson and box of matches for under £2 pound also in the 90's most school kids has saturdays jobs, I worked in Safeburys are saturday jobs even around anymore. Can any of you 70's 80's babies honestly say how many times have you said, like me how many remakes are Hollywood making these days where's has the imagination gone or a new tune in the charts that is not the one you think as it s a remix and have no idea who the hell these you know you have.  I believe it humbling to accept you are your parents child and when you get to a certain age you will accept that and remember your parents always turn out to be right and I am glad I am my father son however I am equally please my father name is not Adolf, Starlin or Mussolini

Questions

Just thought I write a little something been a few days and felt I had too, now I'm not paranoid I'm just saying certain people would probably say I wish you would not, however I don't really give a shite because it's an apparent FREE world.

I was thinking on my train home and two questions occurred to me.

  1. Does hard working hard and honest eventually pay off?
  2. Is there such thing as Karma?

I will come to the second point a little later, firstly, question 1) Does hard working hard and honest eventually pay off? I was convinced working hard and honest was the way forward (Most if not all were shites in their youth so no smarmy comments please) and have been for at good 20 years or but I stand here today at 39 working longer hours for less money, how the fuck did that happen? (I do appreciate what I do have TRUST me people) but I'm feeling the pinch and all in all I have lived by the morales of work hard and be honest for 20 years plus, am I mistaking?

Am I really starting to understand or again am I mistaking? As I enter the life beings period of my story that is me Mark Loughran I'm seeing its all about "Less" to get ahead. Meaning Heartless, Emotionless, Ruthless and whole heap of others less so as I sit trying to dodge little con merchants on internet (But Not Wealthy Affiliate) and discovering that the world is full of Horrid People.  I come to this conclusion REGARDLESS if the world is full of cheats and conmen and to make it to the top you need to conform, well keep your top, I will not conform and I will continue to work all hours trying to make a better standard of living as an sincere, humble and honest being. However, if I'm still struggling in 10 years times I will be the oldest bank robber in Birmingham. (DONT STITCH ME UP) ;-)

Question 2 Some evil fucking bitch sorry for language but don't know her name did not even read all could not, just the headlines and read few lines of the first paragraph, but she killed he little boy doing jail house her lesbian lover and then wins 10k on lottery postcode thing (I could not read it it sickens me but just Google and you see) I instantly thought where's the Karma? question lingers is there such thing as Karma?

Train Poem 3

wishful thinking dangerous tinkering. child's innocent youthfulness grows into bunch of uselessness.
its a sorry old state handouts freely on a plate. in every city or state problem that escalates.
watching folks sublimely delegate.  monkey see monkey do. that flesh and blood is you
when parents are idol. teaching of bone idol is viable. if ya no respect for one another.
teaches brother to steal from brother. witness battering of mothers. what hope is their my brother.
standing right up here. wipe away my last tear. its not me you should fear. cause destiny is clear

when ya wake in the morning. and ya done with all ya yawing. gonna start your day brewing.
and ya know I mean screwing. reflection mirrors I'm fuming. put this in your pipe an smoke it.
why not try and reflect it. check your screw-face reject it. I live my life with this advice.
just try and be nice. time to smile from the eyes. by trying to brighten up strangers life.
please and thank you how are you. here love take this chair I'll stand I'm cool.
you know it feels better. deep down its a pleasure. don't think to trick be clever.
who knows whats round the corner. when its your time to meet your maker.

JOKESSS

One day, 4 people were on a small aeroplane, a captain, a priest, a boy scout, and a smartest man in the world.
They were all eating a nice meal until the pilot came out and said, “This plane is about to crash. Grab a parachute and jump!”
The pilot then grabbed a parachute and jumped off. The smartest man in the world said, “I need that parachute, the world needs my knowledge” and so he jumped off.
The priest said, “Boy you take that last parachute, the world doesn’t need me, I am just an old priest.”
The boy scout said, “No, what are you talking about? There are 2 parachutes left.”
“What?” – the priest.
“It is correct, the smartest man in the world took my backpack.” – responded the boy scout.

102 Compelling Social Media and Online Marketing Stats and Facts for 2012 (and 2013)

With 92% of companies now incorporating social media into their marketing efforts, it’s no longer sufficient to just “be there” on social networks. Today’s most effective marketers are optimizing content across channels, coordinating search and social marketing activities with traditional PR, and measuring their web presence and performance with sophistication.
102 Compelling Social Media and Online Marketing Stats and Facts for 2012 (and 2013) image statistics cartoon 300x211The first step to improving digital marketing results is to understand the emerging trends and best practices. This post, along with 79 Remarkable Social Media Marketing Facts and Statistics for 2012 and 87 More Vital Social Media Marketing Facts and Stats for 2012 previously published here, provide a solid foundation for that understanding.
What do buyers really want from social media marketers? What’s the key to generating more inbound marketing leads? What is the source of the largest share of social traffic to websites? (It’s not what you almost certainly think.)
Find the answers to these questions and many, many more here in over 100 engaging and intriguing social, search, content, inbound, email, mobile and other marketing stats and facts from the past few months.

25 Social Media Facts and Statistics

1. While 76% of marketers believe “they know what their consumers want” in terms of social media content and interaction, only 34% have actually asked those buyers. (e-Strategy Trends)
2. At least on the B2C side, there is a disconnect between what marketers think consumers think is important and what consumers actually value. Marketers believe the highest consumer priorities on social media are insights for buying decisions (59%) and customer service (58%). Consumers actually place the highest value on deals and promotions (83%) and rewards programs (70%). (e-Strategy Trends)
3. B2B buyers are most likely to share useful vendor content via email (79%), followed by LinkedIn (53%), Twitter (39%) and Facebook (18%). (Earnest Agency)
4. While three-quarters of marketers consider measurement of social media impact important, 70% say that measuring those results is difficult. (Marketing Charts)
5. 79% of marketers measure website traffic from social media, and 68% track engagement metrics on social networks, but just 26% measure the relationship of social media activity to leads and sales. (Marketing Charts)
6. Just 4% of marketers said their companies were “very effective” at measuring social marketing in 2012. While 47% felt somewhat good at social measurement in 2011, just 38% said the same in 2012. “Nearly half of respondents (47%) feel they or their companies are either not very good at social marketing measurement, or do not measure well at all.” (Marketing Charts)
7. Ever feel frustrated and less productive than you’d like to be at work, even though you’re working hard and putting in a ton of hours? There’s a reason for that! Interruptions (like email and social media) are messing us up. Consider:
  • • The typical worker is interrupted once every 28 minutes on average.
  • • 28% of the average work day is spent on interruptions and recovery time.
  • • 45% of workers believe they are expected to work on too many things at once.
  • • And tasks done in parallel take on average 30% longer to complete than those performed in a sequence.
8. Everyone knows women vastly outnumber men on Pinterest, but how about on other social networks? Women make up the larger share of users on Facebook (58% to 42%) and are a slightly larger share on Twitter (52% to 48%) while men are the predominate users of LinkedIn (63% to 37%) and Google+ (71% to 29%). Furthermore, half of all Google+ users are under 25 years old. (iMedia Connection)
9. Social CRM is still confusing. Only 16% of companies say they currently have a social CRM system in place. 21% plan to implement such a system in the coming year, but another 17% “don’t know what a social CRM system is and why businesses need it.” (Convince & Convert)
10. Only a quarter of all U.S. small businesses (20-99 employees) and a third of midsized companies say they use social media “to engage with customers and prospects in a strategic and structured way.” Another 20% of both groups say they use social media, but in an ad hoc manner. (eMarketer)
11. Despite growing interest in the concept of social business, less than 20% of U.S. companies have integrated social media with their customer service, sales, or product development processes. (eMarketer)
12. Worldwide, 86% of companies have a presence on Facebook and Twitter, while just over half use YouTube and Linked and only slightly more than a third have a presence on Pinterest and/or Google+. (eMarketer)
13. More than 80% of small to midsized businesses (SMBs) plan to increase their use of social media in 2013. Not suprising, considering that 87% of SMBs say that social media has helped them either somewhat or a great deal in th past year. Of those using this channel, social media accounts for 32% of SMB marketing activities. (Marketing Charts)
14. Okay, so most marketers have now embraced social media. But why? 84% of marketers say they use social media to “reach customers at multiple touchpoints,” while 62% want to reach customers where they spend time and 56% say that “customers expect them to be on social media.” (Marketing Charts)
15. Still, not every small business should be using social media—or at least not using it as they are currently. 79% of small business owners on Twitter post just once per day or even less frequently, yet one out of three want to spend less time on social media. These business owners would be best advised to either spend their time on other tactics or hire someone who knows and enjoys social media to interact on their businesses’ behalf. No deposit, no return. (Leaders West)
16. Social media may be good for 99 things, but lead generation ain’t one of them. According to research from MarketingSherpa, just 12% of marketers rate social media as “very effective” for lead gen while 27% say it is “not effective.” The only tactic that fares worse is print advertising (9% very effective vs. 30% not effective). (B2B Lead Blog)
17. Which social network sends the largest share of website traffic? The answer is…unknown. Literally. The well-known social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Reddit account for, combined, on average, less than half of all social traffic. The majority (as much as 70%) is “dark social”—links shared through email or instant messaging that generally get lumped in with “direct” traffic in analytics programs like Google Analytics. (The Atlantic)
18. The most popular social media sites for distributing B2B content are LinkedIn (used by 83% of B2B marketers), Twitter (80%) and Facebook (also 80%). After that, it falls off sharply; 61% use YouTube, 39% are on Google+, 26% utilize Pinterest (really?) and 23% share content on SlideShare. (MarketingProfs)
19. Using social media boosts website traffic: companies gain a 185% lift in Web traffic after achieving 1,000 Facebook likes, and businesses with 51 to 100 Twitter followers generate 106% more traffic than those with 25 or fewer followers. (MarketingProfs)
20. 92% of U.S. companies now use social media in their marketing efforts. (Heidi Cohen)
21. Different social media channels serve different purposes. Blogging is generally seen as most valuable for SEO, YouTube for content marketing, and social networks like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn most helpful for branding and engagement. (Heidi Cohen)
22. Globally, eight different social networks have now reached the 100 million user mark. Three of those (Weibo, the fourth-largest social nework, RenRen at #5 and Badoo at #7) are primarily used by non-English speakers. (WordPress Hosting SEO)
23. The average user spends nearly seven hours per month on Facebook, but just 21 minutes on Twitter, 17 on LinkedIn, and only three minutes on Google+. (WordPress Hosting SEO)
24. Social media now accounts for 18% of all time spent online, and the average American spends 6.9 hours per month on social networking. But we are spending less time on the phone, sending/reading email, and watching TV than we did just a few years ago. (WordPress Hosting SEO)
25. One-third of CEOs fail to consider their compananies’ social media reputation when making business decisions. (The Backup List)

12 WPO, Inbound and Content Marketing Stats

26. Leads from inbound marketing cost on average 61% less ($135 vs. $346) than outbound marketing leads. (Earnest Agency)
27. Though it varies across industries, of course, 24% of overall marketing spending last year was on digital/online marketing. Social media and SEO together account for 70% of that spending. (iMedia Connection)
28. Blogging generally gets the largest share of inbound marketing budgets, followed by social media, SEO (if calculated separately from blogging) and PPC advertising. Most outbound marketing spend is on telemarketing, followed by direct mail and trade shows. (iMedia Connection)
29. 57% of companies say they generated sales through their blogs, and an identical share have closed business through LinkedIn. 48% have generated customers through Twitter and 42% through Facebook. (iMedia Connection)
30. Why web presence optimization metrics are vital: half of marketers say tightening integration between social media and traditional marketing is a key goal for 2013, yet nearly a third identify that as one of their top social marketing challenges, and a whopping 57% way measuring social ROI is a challenge. (Convince & Convert)
31. 9 out of 10 marketers say they measure social presence (e.g., number of followers and fans) and social media-driven website traffic, but only about half measure share of voice and sentiment. (Convince & Convert)
32. Need more evidence that measuring social media ROI is hard? While about 90% of all companies do some form of social media marketing, just one out of eight measure the revenue impact directly from social media. (eMarketer)
33. The two biggest challenges faced by B2B content marketers are producing enough content (cited by 29% of marketers) and producing the kind of content that engages (18). Only 2% of marketers say that finding trained content marketing professionals is a big challenge. (MarketingProfs)
34. More content = more leads. On average, companies “with 51-100 web pages generate 48% more traffic than companies with 1-50 pages.” What’s interesting though is the differential is larges for very small companies (those with less than 10 employees), likely because larger companies make greater use of lead gen tactics like tradeshows, webinars and video.
